Winthrop '49er Days Celebration May 10 - 12, 2103

Come celebrate '49er Days with Us! The town will be filled with living history when packers and pack trains, cowboys, cowgirls, and an entire wagon train all converge for three days of western events, fun and our small, town parade! 

Methow Valley Rodeo May 25 - 26, 2013

Enjoy the Methow Valley Rodeo twice a year - Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends! Fun for the entire family from Mutton' Bustin. Barrel Racing, Saddle Bronc, Bulls & Clowns to Stick Horse Race for the little ones. The Skagit Valley Rein Riders Drill Team always provides a festive touch.

Pride Parade

The Second Annual Methow Valley gay pride parade will be underway this Spring.

26th Annual Winthrop Rhythm & Blues Festival July 19 - 21, 2013

This is Washington State's largest, longest running R&B Festival. Look who's lined up for this year ... Texas guitar legend Johnny Winter; making big waves these days from their new base in Nashville, Too Slim & the Taildraggers, who return to close the main stage; young delta blues guitar slinger, Marquise Knox; zydeco sweetheart Rosie Ledet; former Levon Helm harmonica ace,Chris O'Leary and his band; and more to be announced!

Methow Valley Chamber of Music Festival July 25 - August 3, 2013

Come join us in the beautiful Methow Valley this July. Enjoy evenings rich with superb musical peformances, complemented by local wines, beers, and hors d'oeuvres, and framed by golden sunsets over the Cascade mountains. Each concert evening begins with a community social hour and ends with a heartwarming afterglow where you can meet the musicians.

Winthrop Vintage Wheels Show September 7, 2013

Stroll along the boardwalk and see some beautiful, restored, iconic wheeled treasures up close. Winthrop's old boardwalks and historic character add to the appeal of this event as the historic cars and motorcycles take over all of Winthrop's main street, the travel trailers will be showcased at the beautiful Pine Near RV Park and antique tractors will be displayed at the Shafer Museum, just 3 blocks from downtown.

Christmas at the End of the Road Celebration November 29 - 30, 2013

This magical holiday celebration begins Thanksgiving weekend and marks the beginning of the Christmas season for the Methow Valley citizens and its many visitors. Family and friends come from afar to join in and share this wondrous time of year.
