Resort Policies

CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT TIMES

Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. Check-out time is 11:00 a.m. Our Guest Reception Desk closes between 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. each evening. If you are planning to ARRIVE AFTER 6:00 PM PLEASE CALL us, so that we can make the necessary arrangements to welcome you after hours.

PET POLICY

Although we love pets, our resort is not set up to accommodate them. We highly recommend Aspen Kennels. Please call Sherry with Aspen Kennels at (509) 996-3306. A minimum fee of $250 will be charged to the guest account if in violation of this policy.

This Resort is 100% Smoke Free in all Cabins, Cabin Decks & Porches.

As a guest, we ask that you comply with our 100% Smoke Free Policy in all cabins, on cabin decks and porches. We certainly understand some of our guests enjoy smoking. We simply ask you use the designated area provided at the resort. Cannibas is not permitted in designated area.This policy also includes No Burning of Candles/Incense/Fireworks on resort property. A mininum of $250 Fine will be assessed for violation of this policy.

RATES

Two-Guest Base Rate in Riverside Chalets/Suites and Cozy Cabins. Additional Guest Fee applies for each additional guest per night. Rates Apply to all Guests 3 years of age and older. Sales tax of 11.2% will be applied to the nightly rate.

Payment is due at check-in. We accept Visa, Mastercard and cash. Sorry, personal checks. A credit card is required to secure all reservations.

During Off-Season at the resort, the Standard Rates are discounted by 20%. Our Off-Season begins November 1, 2015  through December 11, 2015 excluding the Thanksgiving week holiday and March 1, 2015 through April 22, 2015 excluding Easter and Hot Air Balloon Festival March 3-7, 2015.

MINIMUM NIGHT REQUIREMENT

A Two-Night Minimum Stay is required for weekends except during our Off-Season time period beginning November 1 through December 11, 2015 and March 1, 2015 through April 20, 2015. Exceptions are considered depending on availability. Please call us.

A Three-Night Minimum Stay is required for all Holidays and Winthrop Rhythm & Blues Festival except, Easter and Winthrop '49er Days require a Two-Night Minimum Stay only. Exceptions are considered depending on availability. Please call us.

CANCELLATION POLICIES

Standard Cancellation

Cancellation of your reservation must be made 72 hours prior to 4:00 p.m. on the day of your scheduled arrival. Cancellations made after the 72 hours time period will result in payment of full cabin charge and tax for the cabin we reserved for you.

Holiday & Special Events                                                             

Cancellation for All Holidays, Winthrop Rhythm & Blues Festival, '49er Days, Hot Air Balloon Festival Reservations, Winthrop Brew & Stew, Winthrop Vintage Wheels, Winthrop Golf Tournament, Christmas at the End of the Road and other Special Event Weekends must be made 30-days prior to 4:00 p.m. on the day of your scheduled arrival. Cancellations made after the 30-Days time period will result in payment of full cabin charge and tax for the cabin we reserved for you.

Group* Reservations of Two or More Chalets/Cabins                         

Cancellation of a Group Reservation* for two or more cabins must be made 30-Days prior to 4:00 p.m. on the day of your scheduled arrival. Cancellations made after the 30-Days time period will result in payment of full cabin charge and tax for the cabin we reserved for you..

Group* Reservations of Six or More Chalets/Cabins                             

Cancellation of a Group Reservation* for six or more cabins must be made 60-Days prior to 4:00 p.m. on the day of your scheduled arrival. Cancellations made after the 60-Days time period will result in payment of full cabin charge and tax for the cabin we reserved for you.

* GROUP DEFINITION                                                                                              

A Group Reservation is defined by anyone making a reservation for an event in common such as, a wedding, reunion, girls weekend or clubs. The reservation can be in multiple names, but this is still considered a group reservation.

WINTER TRAVEL

Winter Travel means snow will be on the passes, so be prepared for winter driving. If both I-90 and US 2 Highways are closed for more than 3 hours, you will not be held responsible for your reservation.

Pass Closures: Passes can close anytime of the year for maintenance, weather, etc. As long as there is a Pass open for travel to Winthrop, you will be held responsible for your reservation. 

Guest Conduct

If a complaint occurs due to the neglience of those occupying a cabin, disorderly conduct, unlawful activities or repeated noise complaints, the offending guests may be evicted and/or receive additional charges to their account. If damage occurs in a guest cabin or other areas of the resort, the cost of damage will be charged to the credit card on file.
