Reservations: Reservations can be made by telephone or online. A cabin is not reserved until a credit card has been obtained for guarantee. Please note, upon confirmation of your reservation you are obligated to the cancellation policies, as outlined below. A confirmation email will be sent to you. Should you not receive a confirmation email it is your responsibility to contact us to ensure we have the correct information on file.
Standard 72 Hour Cancellation: We are a small resort; therefore, cancellations affect us significantly. If you find it necessary to change or cancel your reservation, we require a minimum of 72 hours. Cancellations made after the requested 72 hour time period will result in payment of full cabin charge and tax for the cabin we reserved for you. Your confirmation letter will provide you with detailed information. It is your responsibility to review.
If you are reserving multiple cabins or if you are part of a group, we require a 30-60 day notice prior to arrival date. Holidays and Winthrop Special Event weekends require a 30-day notice prior to arrival date. Cancellations made after the 30-60 day time period will result in payment of full cabin charge and tax for the cabin we reserved for you. Your confirmation letter will provide you with detailed information. It is your responsibility to review.
BOOKING.COM / EXPEDIA & OTHER BOOKING AGENY CANCELLATIONS: If you secured a reservation through a booking agency and not directly with River's Edge Resort, you must make all changes including cancellations with the booking agency. River's Edge Resort is not authorized to cancel the reservation. All Cancellations/No Show policies apply.
Winter Travel: Both US2 (Steven’s Pass) and Snoqualmie (I-90) are well maintained by WSDOT, but passes can close anytime. We do not waive the cancellation policy for winter weather driving unless; both passes are closed for 3 hours or more. Annually, the North Cascade Pass (HWY) typically closes mid-November through March. Current Pass Reports can be found at . Be prepared for Winter Driving.
Rates: All cabins are quoted for double occupancy. Additional persons may be accommodated for an additional $40 per person, per night. Fee applies to all persons 3 years of age and older. All rates are subject to 8.2% Sales Tax and 3% Occupancy Tax.
Guarantee Fee: We guarantee Cabin type, but not placement. For example, if you reserve a One-Bedroom Cozy Cabin, we guarantee you will be reserved in a One-Bedroom Cozy Cabin, but not a specific Cabin Number. If you would like a specific Cabin Number, we will guarantee that Cabin for an additional placement fee of $30 per reservation.
Minimum Stays: Two night minimum stays are required during peak season. All major holiday weekends and Winthrop special event weekends require a three night minimum stay. If our availability allows for a one night stay we may make an exception to the minimum stay policy. Please call us 1-800-937-6621.
Check in/out: Check-in time: 4:00 PM / Check-out time is 11:00 AM or before. Our Guest Reception Desk closes between 5:00 PM and 9:00 PM each evening - depending on the season. If you are planning to arrive after 5:00 PM, please contact us for instructions.
Guest Occupancy: Cabin occupancy is limited to the number of guests registered at check-in. Please notify the Front Desk if you are going to have additional people. Discovery of additional people in a cabin will result in additional person fees ($40 each) to the credit on file.
Keys: We use old-fashioned keys. Please return keys to Front Desk at check-out or drop in the key box by the south office door. There is a $50 key replacement fee for each key not returned within 3 days.
Smoking: Our property is 100% non-smoking. Smoking is only permitted in designated areas. There is a $250 fee if we detect guests have smoked in or on the decks of a cabin.
Open Flames: Candles, incense, fireworks, turkey grease fryers and barbecues are not allowed on resort property. There is a $250 fee if policy is not respected.
Pet Policy: Our property cannot accommodate pets. However, we would be happy to recommend a local kennel. There is a $250 fee if policy is not respected.
Kitchens / Kitchenettes: Cabins are equipped with full-size kitchens and kitchenettes. It is guest responsibility to leave kitchens clean: load/start dishwasher (detergent provided) and/or use dish soap/scrubber and dish drying rack. If it is not possible, we ask that you kindly accept a $20.00 cleaning fee. To avoid this charge, please take advantage of the cleaning supplies provided.
Lost & Found: Belongings left behind by guests will be kept for two weeks. Belongings are disposed or donated after this time period if not claimed by the guest. We do not call guests due to confidentiality. There is a $20 fee to ship belongings back to you.
Damages / Guest Conduct: If a complaint occurs due to the negligence of those occupying a cabin, disorderly conduct, unlawful activities or repeated noise complaints, the offending guests may be evicted and/or receive additional charges to their account. If damage occurs in a guest cabin or other areas of the resort, the cost of property damage at full replacement cost will be charged to the credit card on file.
