The Methow Valley is a thriving outdoor paradise in the summer months. Many people base themselves at River's Edge Resort and explore the valley's activities. 

Mountain Biking

  • Mountain Bike Methow

Mountain Bike trails leave just outside of town on the Methow Valley Community Trail for Beginners. The most favorite section of the trail is from Brown's Farm to Mazama for a 12-mile ride. Be sure to stop by the Mazama Country Store for refreshments, good food and local shopping.

There are many options for Moderate to Advanced riders. 

Horse Back Riding

Enjoy a quite ride with great views of the valley. There is fun for the entire family from Hour-Long, Half-Day to Full-Day Rides. Be a Cowboy! Experience great fun and create memories.

Experience the natural beauty of the Methow Valley. Discover old growth forest, glacial lakes, alpine meadows and unique wildlife. The Cascades Outdoor Store always has recommendations for great hikes. Stop by their downtown location or visit their website 

The Methow Valley boast hiking trails with incredible views. Choose from short, family friendly strolls on wide paths to more advanced hikes to lakes, glaciers and alpine meadows.
